When Pikesville native Jayne Havens returned to the Baltimore area, after living in Washington, D.C. for a number of years, she was hoping to expand her social circle. A young mother of two children, Sid, 4, and Ivy, eight weeks old, she wanted to connect with other young Jewish families in and around Lutherville.
Cathedral will begin streaming the school’s morning and afternoon announcements this month. Families will be able to see the same announcements that the students will see every day.

An initiative launching this year at Cathedral is the development of a makerspace. The idea of the maker movement evolved from software and hardware hackers, as well as hobbyist who like to build things.
