The streets and spaces of Station North are already bursting with creativity. This weekend, another movement will be in the area.
Akimbo is set return to the Arts and Entertainment District for the fifth year. The festival features dance companies, movement artists as well as music and spoken word. From 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, local businesses, galleries and other gathering points will play host to the artists. Spaces like Joe Squared, Station North Tool Library and even Graffiti Alley will all have something.
