The Baltimore Improv Fest is running all week, but the laughs will really pick up with the arrival of the weekend. The headliner is also set to take the stage.
The fest is in its 10th year, and has a total of 11 shows at the Baltimore Theatre Project. We would tell you more about it, but it’s really up to the performers how it turns out. In any case, below are some highlights from the remainder of the calendar.
All-Musical Show On Thursday night, three troupes including DC’s iMusical perform.
Man v. Movie Festival headliner Paul Vaillancourt will create an entire movie on Saturday night. His only prompt is a line that the audience suggests. It sound challenging, but Vailancourt is experienced. He’s been performing for 30 years, with some of the field’s greats.
Improvaret Baltimore’s own Babs and Midge close out the festival with some hit cabaret songs on Sunday. Joined by piano man Sam, they’ll put an improv spin on the classic form.
