When spring arrives, there will be more bike share stations in Baltimore.
According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the city’s bikeshare is set to add 30 stations in May. That’s a big increase from the 20 stations that were available when the program launched. The stations will bring bikeshare to Patterson Park, Johns Hopkins Homewood campus, Penn Station, Druid Hill Park and more.
This is not technically second a phase, but rather a completion of the first. City officials rolled out the initial 20 stations, and always planned more in the spring. But usage should pick up. A bikeshare representative tells the BBJ that ridership is “above our expectations” so far.
