13 Floor New Year's

catch of the day fish (2)So on Friday we gave our recommendation for a great New Year’s Eve party that promises to be Baltimore’s “sexiest.” E-Villa’s event is sure to be super fun, yet classy and affordable. What more could you ask for? Well, some might feel the need to ring in 2013 by busting out the cummerbunds, tails, sequins, et al. And why not? “It’s only once a year,” as they say. So if you’re looking to spend the night feeling like an F. Scott Fitzgerald character (and who isn’t?), have your driver drop you and your date off in front of The Belvedere, check your mink at the door, and head up the elevator to the 13th Floor for a dazzling night.

The historic Belvedere is hosting New Year’s Eve, and they’re pulling out all the stops. Admission includes a top shelf open bar, including signature cocktails, flowing champagne and party favors, a stationed reception with a fabulous menu, and live music from the Tommy Joy Trio. And of course, from the 13th floor you’ll also have the best view of Baltimore’s fireworks. The festivities last from 9pm until 2am, at which point you should be sure to have brunch reservations lined up somewhere or other. All kidding aside, dress code is dressy: “black tie invited.” So quick, make sure that tux or cocktail dress still fits after all the Christmas cookies and call ahead for reservations.

The Belvedere is located at 1 East Chase Street in Baltimore. For details and tickets, visit
