At 44 stories and 500 feet high, it’s going to be the tallest apartment building in Baltimore. And it just got final approval.
According to the Baltimore Business Journal, the skyline-changing development project at 414 Light Street was initially met with some reservation by Baltimore’s Urban Design and Architectural Review Panel. But changes were made to the base of the building — “sloping, diagonal stairs” were nixed and replaced with “gently sloping sidewalks,” for example — and now they’re good to go.
The final design will accommodate 392 “ultra luxury” units.
