We love it when two of our favorite things come together. In this case, it’s a (weekend-long) marriage of Artifact Coffee (one of the best spots in town for a cup of joe and something to nibble on) and Blacksauce Kitchen (you know the mile-long line at the farmers market for their biscuits?). And not only have the two teamed up for what promises to be a delicious and unique dinner concept this weekend, but they’ve done it right at the peak of the holiday season. Translation: one meal that we don’t have to cook ourselves. One night when we will not have to wash one dish. One night that we can sit and be served food, rather than chasing after the kids to make sure they’re not throwing theirs all over the floor/couch/guests. In other words: perfect timing. Of course, if you want in on this amazing meal they’re planning, you’ll have to make reservations (see how we’re giving you notice?). The meal is “hog-centric”–meaning it’s all about the pig and its many parts. You get a four course meal, accompanied by amazing craft cocktails (meant to highlight the fab fare, of course) and even optional beer pairings. They’ll have two seatings per night, at 6pm and 8:30pm, on both Friday and Saturday. And who’s to say you can only make reservations for one of them?
Blacksauce Kitchen and Artifact Coffee’s collaboration, “Whole Hog” takes place Dec 19 & 20 at Artifact Coffee (1500 Union Ave in Baltimore). Seatings are at 6pm and 8:30pm and reservations are required. For more information, visit www.artifactcoffee.com.
