Every holiday season, we wait with bated breath for the Charm City Craft Mafia’s Holiday Heap—our very favorite of the holiday season craft fairs. We go early, we buys snacks, and we shop ‘til we drop. Sure, we say it’s all about finding gifts for loved ones, but rare is the year that we don’t come home with gifts for ourselves. It’s impossible not to! The Craft Mafia does such an outstanding job of finding the coolest, most masterful vendors for their craft fairs that even the most restrained shopper often can’t resist the unique (and gorgeous) offerings that abound. But, like we said, that all happens in December. Alas. Thankfully though, each June, they also bring us Pile of Craft, a summer time craft fair just as rockin’ and chock full of amazingness as their Holiday Heap—and the best part is, it’s almost here.
Pile of Craft takes place this Saturday, June 7th. You can expect your favorite local crafters, like Cotton Monster, Red Prairie Press, and Bmore Papercuts. There will also be vendors from out of town with everything from leather bags to paper goods to one-of-a-kind lighting fixtures. And of course, some of our favorite local eats will be available from Clementine. Yum. So whatever your Saturday holds, be sure to pencil in time for a pop-in to Pile of Craft and a good long moment taking in the fab offerings from some of Baltimore’s coolest crafters.
Pile of Craft takes place this Saturday, June 7th from 10am-5pm at 2640 St. Paul Street in Baltimore. For more information, and a complete list of vendors, visit www.charmcitycraftmafia.com
