Tuesday, September 18, 7:00 p.m. – Marin Alsop in conversation with Tom Hall at the Church of the Redeemer
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Marin Alsop will speak about composer Leonard Bernstein’s influence on her life and career, as America marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of its most famous composer. Alsop writes, “Bernstein was my hero as a child and my mentor as an adult. Like the man himself, his music transcends barriers and breaks boundaries, reminding us of music’s incredible power to speak directly to our souls.”
Church of the Redeemer is located at 5603 N. Charles Street in North Baltimore. For more information about the event, click here.
