As we enter the long, hot days of August, here’s a chance to get the dogs out of the house.
The Creative Alliance is set to host the Dog Days of Summer Block Party on Saturday. From 4:30-8:30 p.m., the arts center will shut down the street just outside its Highlandtown HQ to give the dogs room to roam. They’ll have pools to soak in, and balls to chase and of course treats to nibble on. Even the music will be pet-themed.
The humans also get the dogs they like. Newly beloved neighborhood tavern Snake Hill will be serving up sausages (in the hot dog family), and Flying Dog is bringing the beer.
