The holidays can be wonderful opportunities to spend time with family, relax, and count our many blessings. With loved ones close by and a banquet table full of pure comfort food and luscious treats, there’s nowhere else that many of us would rather be. Except, of course, throwing back a brew or two and cheering on the Ravens without a thought toward the dishes that will have to be washed, the leftovers put away, and the kitchen scrubbed back to normal. Are we allowed to say that? Or worse, are we allowed to recommend how one might live such a dream?
The Mt. Washington Tavern has been holding it down all season as our go-to spot for following the Ravens’ journey toward their second consecutive Super Bowl win (yeah, we just said that). And since we’ve been thankful all fall for their great weekend and game-day specials, we figure that it’s the perfect place to celebrate the biggest thankfulness day of the year–tomorrow. Whether you make reservations for a proper Thanksgiving feast at the tavern, or just show up post-family meal to unwind and watch the game, they’ve got your number. And they’ve also got all of the cooking and cleaning covered.
The Mt. Washington Tavern is open Thanksgiving day with a special Thanksgiving menu as well as their regular menu. For more information, or to make reservations, visit www.mtwashingtontavern.com.
