Absolutely save the date (it should be easy—it’s two days from now). On Thursday, November 15th, Harbor East merchants are unveiling the Window Wonderland Holiday Arts Exhibit in a grand event from 5:30pm-8pm. But what makes the event so noteworthy? So worth cramming everyone into the car for? It’s got everything!
Firstly, if you’re not someone who lives or works right on the harbor, it can be easy to forget that our city is right on the water. So an excuse to stroll the piers and take in one of Baltimore’s most beautiful features is always welcome. Second, the unique holiday windows on display were done by local artists. A masterpiece created by homegrown talent? Yea! And then of course there’s the stilt walkers, carolers, and a variety of other entertainers. Also, for those with little ones, be sure to stop by the MAC Harbor East, which from 5:30-7:30 will be transformed into a holiday craft workshop. The entire event is free (including wine and cheese for big kids, and milk & cookies for little kids). Neighborhood bars and restaurants are also offering drink and happy hour specials, so feel free to stop into a local establishment, take off the Santa hat for a bit, and soak up the holiday cheer.
The Harbor East Window Wonderland unveiling takes place Thursday, November 15th from 5:30pm – 8pm in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. For information about specific events and participants, visit http://www.harboreast.com/events/window-wonderland/.
