How many one year-olds do you know with impeccable taste, fabulous vintage clothes, choice pieces by independent designers , and a rotating array of carefully curated accessories? Probably not many (unless you had the pleasure of hanging out with the Jolie-Pitts or Katie and Suri (sorry, Tom) back in the early days. But up in Hampden, we’ve got our own fabulous one year-old: Hunting Ground—the much celebrated boutique opened this time last year in the old church on Falls Road just north of The Avenue. And we’re more than excited to help them celebrate their first year of business, this Friday.
If the weather is at all springy this weekend, you’ll of course want to be out and about for First Fridays, anyway. The shops stay open late, and there are refreshments, sales, and general good times in abundance. But stop by Hunting Ground from 6pm-9pm and you can expect to get 20% off anything in the store while enjoying refreshments and music from DJs Lane Harlan and Matthew Pierce. The shop has tons of new spring arrivals, including loads of vintage, and charming (tiny) tropical potted plants, perfect for welcoming in the warm weather (whenever it finally decides to commit).
Hunting Ground is located at3649 Falls Rd. in Baltimore. Their 1 year anniversary party takes place this Friday, April 5th, from 6pm-9pm.
