The Inner Harbor Ice Rink opened today, just in time for the holiday season. The rink has moved this year to the corner of Pratt and Light Streets at the top of the Harborplace Amphitheater, across from the Gallery at Harborplace. The site is warmer and larger than last year’s site.
Waterfront Partnership has planned holiday-themed special events, discounts and deals at the ice rink. ‘Pajama Skate’ on November 22, invites skaters to come dressed in their “warmest, funniest, wackiest holiday pajamas.” ‘Character Skate’ welcomes characters from the Next Ice Age for a spin on the ice. Visit the Inner Harbor Ice Rink website for more details.
Open hours are Mondays, 3:00-7:00 p.m.; Tuesdays through Thursdays, 3:00-8:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.; and Sundays, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. through Monday, January 18. Admission is $9 for adults, and $7 for children, seniors and members of the military. Skate rental is $4, or bring your own skates.
