Justin Forsett isn’t used to taking snaps, but he almost had to step in for doctors on Saturday night as his wife delivered their new baby.
The Ravens running back and his sweetheart were spending Valentine’s Day at a Lauryn Hill concert in D.C., when she went into labor.
“I thought I was going to have to deliver the baby myself in the car on the way to the Birthing Center it happened so fast last night,” Forsett wrote. The snow added more to the adventure.
After four hours, Zion was born.
S/O to my wife @michellekole it took her 4hrs from start to finish to deliver our son Zion. I thought I was going to have to deliver the baby myself in the car on the way to the Birthing Center it happened so fast last night. Driving in that snow storm definitely added a different element to the experience as well but it all worked out. Best Valentines Day Gift ever! So Glad to have Zion J. Forsett home!
Ravens fans are undoubtedly hoping Forsett will turn his rushing energies to the Ravens once again in the fall. The top running back is a free agent this offseason, but it looks like he’s found another reason to stay in Baltimore.
