Light City gets underway on Monday in Baltimore with a spring appearance by a local fall favorite.
A parade is a fitting start to any big event, and the Creative Alliance is bringing its own mashup of March illumination. Monday night’s Light City edition of the lantern parade is expected to have about 700 participants, and will wind through the light art that makes up one-third of the festival’s trifecta of light, music and innovation conferences. The parade steps off around 7:30 p.m. from Rash Field.
Monday, March 28, marks the first day of the weeklong festival. That means it will also be the first go-round for the art walk all around the harbor. Check out the full map.
