We love the theme of this year’s Maryland Home & Garden Show: Be Inspired. It’s the perfect motto for when we thought we’d be all done with winter by now, but clearly spring is still a ways off. Yet, the Home & Garden Show begs us to look forward, to remember that it can’t be this way forever. So, it’s time to Be Inspired. It’s time to dream of how gorgeous our houses will look inside and out come summer. It’s time to plan for planting and prep for painting. And luckily, those folks over at the show have everything you need to start to dream big, so that when the time comes for spring cleaning (and digging, and remodeling, and pruning) you’ll be ready.
Whether you’re just looking for a few unique house plants to brighten up your kitchen, or for a new kitchen altogether, the Maryland Home & Garden Show has what you’re looking for. There will be over 300 home improvement exhibits, where you can talk to contractors and get specials and products you won’t find anywhere else. There will also be exquisite landscaping exhibits, featuring some of the most inventive and inspiring designs this year. You may come home with an entirely new plan for that patio, or maybe with just a few small succulents to round out the front garden. But no matter what, we promise you won’t be able to help being inspired.
The Maryland Home & Garden Show runs all weekend long at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. For more information, visit www.mdhomeandgarden.com.
