Maybe it’s the Orioles winning the American League East for the first time since 1983, but Maryland is a pretty happy state.
A study by WalletHub — which actually factors in more than just how your professional sports teams are doing — determined that Maryland is the 15th happiest state in the U.S. Maryland gets high marks for “income levels and growth rates, unemployment, job security, and commute times” as well as for emotional and physical well-being.
But, just to let you know, Washington, D.C., beat us by two spots.
