Families, fashionistas and furry friends alike will delight in festive (and free!) fun sure to warm hearts, lift spirits and set the stage for a very merry holiday at Harbor East this season.
MERRIMENT & MELODIES: A HOLIDAY CHORAL ARTS SERIES
Wednesdays in December: 2nd, 9th & 16th • 5:30-9PM
Harbor East hosts the inaugural Merriment & Melodies: A Holiday Choral Arts Series taking place Wednesdayevenings (2nd, 9th & 16th) in December. Join us in the neighborhood for starlight performances from some of Baltimore’s best and brightest choral arts groups set against the stunning backdrop of Katyn Circle and the night sky. Merriment & Melodies will proudly feature: Pride of Baltimore Chorus (December 2nd), Children’s Chorus of Maryland (December 9th) and Heart of Maryland Chorus (December 16th). During Merriment & Melodies we welcome guests to warm up street-side with our Hot Chocolate Happy Hour offerings, featuring complimentary hot cocoa and sweets, while holiday characters, stilt walkers and acrobats amaze! Stick around to holiday shop at “Baltimore’s Best” shopping destination as Harbor East retailers host events & specials, plus extended hours until9PM. Additionally, families won’t want to miss the fourth annual Milk & Cookies Social – a (cool) progeny play date – December 9th from 5:30PM-7:30PM at The Maryland Athletic Club. The MAC will transform into a holiday workshop offering FREE kids crafts and activities, a perfect complement to the sweet sounds of the Children’s Chorus of Maryland’s performance!
In partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, Harbor East will be collecting donated canned goods at each Merriment & Melodies event in an effort to help food-insecure families this holiday season. For each item collected onsite Harbor East will donate $1 to the Maryland Food Bank. The festivities begin at 5:30PM, choral groups will take the stage at 6:30PM. Free and open to the public. PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA
Sunday, November 29th • 12-4PM
Fidos and ferrets alike can pose with the “big guy” too – join Harbor East and the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) for the Third Annual Pet Photos with Santa! Thanksgiving weekend – Sunday, November 29th from 12-4PM bring your furry friends to kick-off the holidays with complimentary pet photos. Get into the spirit of giving by making a donation of pet food or toys to BARCS; volunteers will be on hand to collect your charitable donations to help animals in need of a little extra love this holiday season. FREE HOLIDAY PARKING AT HARBOR EAST
