Baltimore County Police arrested a man who allegedly escalated a fight by grabbing a chainsaw.

Police say the altercation happened August 29 in Middle River. That’s when Michael Dobihal got into a fight another man who was staying at a home in the 11100 block of Bird River Grove Road.

The fight spilled outside the home. At one point, police said Dobihal went to his truck and grabbed his chainsaw. He then started it, and started moving towards the other man.

When police arrived, they said both man had injuries. But it appears Dobihal was only threatening the other man with the chainsaw.

Dobihal was booked on first and second degree assault charges, and held on $50,000 bail
