New Road Brings Everything in Owings Mills Closer Together

Last week, in Owings Mills they cut the ribbon to celebrate the completion of a new road that connects Metro Centre at Owings Mills to Owings Mills Mall, the Owings Mills Town Center and the larger northwest Baltimore County community. Sure, it’s just one road, but this simple connection will bridge all of our favorite Owings Mills destinations, while doing away with so much congestion that can be frustrating to deal with when you’re out for a fun day of shopping, or on your way to a movie. Of course, it also makes the new residential side of Metro Centre all the more appealing too– not that it really needed it. The folks in charge of development have been working long and hard on  what they call, “creating a sense of place” in Owings Mills. And that is exactly what they’ve done.

“The completion of this short connector road will bring tremendous synergies to the existing Owings Mills Town Center, alleviate traffic and congestion on Reisterstown Road and Painters Mills Road and dramatically shorten travel times for businesspeople and residents in this area,” explained Howard Brown, Chairman of David S. Brown Enterprises, Ltd. “The road will facilitate traffic from Mill Run Circle into Metro Centre at Owings Mills to access our restaurants, amenities and residential product. In addition, for companies seeking a strategic business location in Baltimore County, this access point will reduce the driving distance to Towson, Woodlawn and all points along the Baltimore Beltway.” We definitely like the sound of that. That means more great businesses popping up throughout the county, easier access and less time on the beltway, and even more reasons to love, love, love Owings Mills.  Click here to arrange for a tour of the new Metro Crossing Apartments, in the heart of Metro Centre.
