About Faces in Maryland will help women get in the pink spirit this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All six About Faces Salons will offer pink hair extensions for $10 each. About Faces Salons will also be selling breast cancer t-shirts and beach bags to benefit the American Cancer Society’s fight against breast cancer. All proceeds from the pink hair extensions and breast cancer merchandise will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.
Since 1993, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has been the American Cancer Society’s rallying cry to build awareness and generate funds to fight breast cancer, raising more than $685 million. Annually, nearly 1 million people unite to participate in nearly 300 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events across the nation. All of the proceeds help support breast cancer research, offer free patient/caregiver services, provide in-depth cancer information, and support legislative advocacy to make sure all women have access to the care they need.
About Faces Salons are located in Annapolis, Canton, Pikesville, Salisbury, Timonium, and Towson, MD. For more information visit www.aboutfacessalons.com
