The Tennessee Titans claim it was unintentional, but it sure doesn’t look that way on the video. Fox Sports got possession of a video from last week’s game showing Titans tight end Chase Coffman going out of bounds and leveling a member of the Ravens’ coaching staff, in what Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer calls:
Coffman got hit with a $30,000 fine for the “inadvertent” play. (Are we supposed to believe he was blind drunk or something?) The assistant coach suffered no major injuries. Oh, and the Ravens won that game 21-7.
By the way, the Ravens had a bye this week but have technically moved up in the AFC North standings to enjoy — for a moment — a three-way tie for second place, behind the Cincinnati Bengals.
