The reality show “Ghost Detectives” will descend this weekend upon the Poe House at 203 Amity St. in West Baltimore to see if it can pick-up paranormal activity.

“I get so many calls about [ghosts] that I could spend every night of the week at the Poe House with paranormal investigators,” Poe House curator Jeff Jerome told the Baltimore Sun.

“I thought, ‘Why not?’” Jerome said, “as long as they spell Poe’s name correctly.”

Edgar Allan Poe is said to have written Lionizing: A Tale, MS. Found in a Bottle and other works at the house, which has suffered through budget struggles in recent years.

The production team will also film at the Admiral Fell Inn, and is hoping to film at Westminster Hall and Burying Ground, where Poe is buried.  The show is expected to air in mid-June.
