This year, Saturday, November 28, marks Small Business Saturday, the day when Baltimore merchants usher locals through their doors to herald the start of holiday shopping season.
Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday is the only must-do shopping day that benefits the little guy. Actually, it benefits everyone in Baltimore — from the business owners who create jobs to the customers who buy locally — by showcasing small businesses in the local economy that keep Baltimore thriving.
Locals are critical to helping small businesses thrive. By shopping or dining at an indie business on Saturday, November 28th, you’ll show your support for local entrepreneurs and, in turn, help them offer more jobs and better opportunities.
Local merchants will have special goodies in-store in honor of the day. If you’re in the market to buy Christmas gifts why not keep it local and shop big while you shop small?
