Alright, everybody. Sing it with me: Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants! Depending on your general proximity to young children, you may or may not have heard those opening lines shouted over and over and over again. But no matter what, you’ve surely seen images of SpongeBob and friends from Bikini Bottom (yes, that’s where he lives) over the years. Well, this year, the Bikini Bottomers are coming to Baltimore with SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D – The Great Jelly Rescue—an attraction coming to National Aquarium’s 4-D Immersion Theater on March 1. Start camping out for tickets now.
Okay, okay. You don’t need to camp out, because the attraction will be open all the way through November 13th of this year. But still, a true SpongeBob fan would absolutely be first in line to see this flick. With eye-catching 4-D effects, you’ll be surfing through an electrifying swarm of Jellies, getting dragged into the bowels of the Flying Dutchman’s ghost ship, and even feeling the rumble of the cannon as our heroes are launched on a hysterical odyssey. Rumor has it there’s even an explosive finale, which, knowing SpongeBob, could mean anything. So grab your favorite starfish, grill up some crabby patties and get ready for the show of a lifetime.
SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D – The Great Jelly Rescue, opens March 1st at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. For more information, or to book tickets, visit www.aqua.org.
