Well, it’s almost here. Thanksgiving is tomorrow, which means a non-stop month of shopping, decorating, card-mailing, wining, dining, packing bags, unpacking bags, and hopefully having time to breathe in between it all. There’s no shortage of great things to do this weekend in Baltimore. There’s Small Business Saturday shopping, drop-in family art activities at the Walters, and music at the Creative Alliance to help you dance off some of that extra stuffing. And of course, the city’s offerings go well beyond that. But if you’re staying in town this weekend, one great place to start the season off might be the Station North Black Friday Art & Craft Market.
Celebrate the opportunity to avoid the mad rushes through sliding glass doors, and instead head down to the Station North Arts District. The Station North Art & Craft Market will feature locally made goods that run the gamut from silkscreened tote bags to hand-crafted jewelry. The famed Gogo’s Retread Threads bus will also be in attendance. Sure, you might not find that 94 inch 3-D, flat screen, touch screen monitor for sixty percent off, but the mental health and well-being savings will be well worth it. We promise.
The Station North Black Friday Art & Craft Market takes place on Friday, November 23rd at D Center Baltimore, 16 W. North Avenue . The event will be held from 3pm – 8pm.
