A mosque in Baltimore County has been the recipient of two “disturbing” threats of violence, WJZ reports.
On April 28, the Islamic Society of Baltimore’s Al-Rahmah School was called by someone asking when the facility closed before remarking that it would be “the perfect time to bomb the bus.” A second call came Tuesday, in which someone reportedly threatened to “spill Muslim blood.”
Baltimore County Police don’t consider the threats “credible,” but they’ve increased security at the ISB campus and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
The Council on American Islamic Relations has called on the Federal Bureau of Investigation to look into the threats.
