Let me just say that I’m in the “if we just ignore the weather, maybe it will go away” camp. Which is to say, if you’re hoping for tips on staying warm, and where to buy a premium snow shovel, you may be out of luck. But if you’re looking to book up your social calendar without considering whether or not you may end up still snowed in a month from now—in that case, I may be able to help out. Because though we began the week on a rather bleak and dead-of-winter kind of note, surely there’s something to look forward to, in the maybe-not-so-snowy future, right? How about the party of the season – Federal Hill’s Fest-of-All? It was sold out for the past two years, and promises to be again. In other words: buy your tickets now.
Fest-of-All is a celebration of Federal Hill—a neighborhood known for food, drink, and fun. So you can count on plenty of sumptuous eats and beverages from neighborhood restaurants and taverns. Not to mention a runway event showcasing wares from local boutiques, live music, and a silent auction. All of this goes toward Federal Hill Main Street, an awarding-winning nonprofit organization focused on promoting, beautifying and strengthening the business district of Federal Hill. Oh, and they also did a lot of sidewalk shoveling the other day, too.
The Fest-of-All takes place February 22nd at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. For more information, visit www.historicfederalhill.org
