Want to gain a whole heap of new skills in one delightful evening? That’s the idea behind the Charm City Craft Mafia’s latest venture: the Tiny Workshop. It’s a quick and dirty (okay, not that dirty) intro to three different art forms as practiced by some of Baltimore’s favorite crafters. All supplies are provided, and the level of instruction is perfect even for those with little or no experience. And did we mention the workshop is being held at Artifact Coffee? That means you can sip on some of the best java in town or snack from their always-delicious menu while you master your new found craft skills. The featured artists at this workshop will be Anne Howe of Bmore Papercuts, Leah Boelman of littlegreenthings, and Jennifer Wilfong of Yummy & Company. Each will offer their expertise so you can make your own (tiny) project to take home. You’ll come away with three different projects which of course are yours to keep or give away as fabulous, unique gifts. Besides these take-home projects, you’ll also receive some amazing swag, and can count on meeting an awesome new network of fellow creative types. Sounds like maybe this Tiny Workshop isn’t so tiny after all. RSVPs required– space is very limited.
The Charm City Craft Mafia’s Tiny Workshop will be held Thursday, April 2nd at Artifact Coffee (1500 Union Avenue in Baltimore) from 6pm-8pm. For more information or to reserve a spot, visit www.charmcitycraftmafia.com.
