giantfoodThe Wilkens Avenue Giant in Baltimore County was shut down for more than seven hours Wednesday while police pursued a shoplifting suspect attempting a Bond-like getaway.

Batimore County police got a call about shoplifting at the Giant around 3 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered a woman had escaped from store security, climbed on top of merchandise shelves and made her way into the area above the ceiling.

It doesn’t appear she made it far from there, however. Police shut down the store, but the woman was located just after 10 p.m., and arrested.
