The Orioles just lost two out of three at home to the Washington Nationals. Even so, Camden Yards managed to get under the skin of Nats slugger Bryce Harper.
Harper hit a home run and a double in the series, but otherwise mostly struggled at the plate. After the series was over, he voiced his frustration.
โI donโt like hitting here,โ he said. โI just really donโt. Plain and simple. I mean, I hate it.โ
And he should. According to CSN Washington, he entered the series with a career .198 batting average across seven games at Camden Yards.
Of course, itโs cold comfort when weโre entering All-Star break with a .500 win percentage; last year, we were doing a lot better.
Ah, last year.
