Ronald Daniels snuggie

Maybe itโ€™s something in the air, maybe itโ€™s something he ate, maybe itโ€™s just a case of good olโ€™ spring feverโ€ฆ but Johns Hopkins President Ronald J. Daniels is being really fun these days. Point of evidence #1: the photo above, from April 16, in which heโ€™s jumping rope (and getting some pretty impressive air) with students from the Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project. But thereโ€™s more.

Here he is last week, posing in a Snuggie (!) alongside members of the Hopkins Outdoors Clubโ€“ostensibly an attempt โ€œto symbolically honor the many efforts under way to reduce the universityโ€™s carbon footprint and safeguard the environment,โ€ but I think itโ€™s probably just because he wanted to wear a Snuggie.

Youtube video

Andโ€“best of all!โ€“hereโ€™s a video of him serving as special guest performer during a performance this week from two of Johns Hopkinsโ€™ dance troupes, who do a kind of bouncy, Bollywood-inspired dance. Pretty awesome. Whatever heโ€™s been eating, weโ€™d like some of that, please.
