With Melissa Hyatt unanimously confirmed as Baltimore County’s police chief, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. and the new top cop are holding three town hall meetings this month to discuss policing with residents and business owners.
Both will give prepared remarks, but a release from the county executive’s office emphasized the importance of hearing community feedback.
“These will be more listening sessions than us speaking,” Olszewski said in a statement. “Chief Hyatt is excited to get out and meet the community and we want to hear from our communities about public safety concerns and collaborations.”
All of the meetings will run from 6:30-8 p.m. The locations and dates are:
