Creative Mornings Baltimore: 8-10 a.m. at Shake and Bake Family Fun Center. AFRAM organizers Tierra Brown and Tia Newton discuss this monthโ€™s theme, Roots.

Artist Talk: J.M. Giordano: noon at BMA Lexington Market. The Baltimore photojournalist discusses photography of the steel industry.

Baltimore Bike Party: 6:30 p.m. at St. Maryโ€™s Park. The last-Friday-of-the-month ride winds through the city to North Ave. Market. Fittingly, this monthโ€™s theme is Night at the Arcade.

Hike for Healing Launch and Happy Hour: 7 p.m. at Sweet 27. FORCE collective is holding a 2020 fundraiser, and gearing up for the Hike for Healing and recruiting for Youth Voices for Consent.

Be Free Fridays: 7 p.m. at Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute. The open mic features a performance from poet Kish The Lioness.

Shen Yun: Friday-Sunday at Hippodrome Theatre. The dance company performing classical Chinese dance returns to Baltimore.

Saint-Saรซns Cello Concerto: 8 p.m. at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall (repeats Dec. 1). Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason joins the BSO for the renowned piece.

The Honey DewDrops: 8 p.m. at Creative Alliance. The Americana duo plays in Highlandtown.

Videodrome: 9 p.m. at Ottobar. The dance party returns for beats on the floor and on film.

Art After Hours: 8-11 p.m. at Baltimore Museum of Art. The museum stays open late for a celebration of radical self-expression through art. The night features performances by R&B singer Joy Postell (pictured) and the Baltimore Boom Bap Society, art-making and an anarchist sweater making workshop.

Saturday, Feb. 1
Trolley Tour: 8:30 a.m. at Morgan State University. Live Baltimore hosts a three-part home-buying event that includes a chance to qualify for $5,000 toward down payment/closing costs anywhere in Baltimore City.

Greater Goods Market: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at R House. More than 50 local vendors are at the event space in the Remington food hall.

Baltimore Wedding Expo: 2 p.m. at Baltimore Convention Center: Check out wedding vendors to help add those special touches to the big day.

Black Author Book Expo: 5-8 p.m. at Baltimore War Memorial. More than 40 authors will be downtown for the family-friendly event.

Groundhog Day Dance Party: 5:30 p.m. at Baltimore Food Hub. The Baltimore Architecture Foundation presents its biggest fundraiser of the year, complete with a presentation on the food hub and plenty of dancing.

Red Emmaโ€™s Mother Earth Poetry Vibe: 6 p.m. at Red Emmaโ€™s. The open mic focusing on justice features Roscoe Burnems.

Puppet Slammwich: 6:30 p.m. at Black Cherry Puppet Theatre. Check out six puppet performances, geared toward the grown-ups.

Nerd Prom: 8 p.m.-12 a.m. at Baltimore Soundstage. Finally, nerds get a prom all their own, with a photo booth, slow dances, cosplay karaoke and yearbooks.Sonsombre: 8 p.m. at The Ottobar. The goth rock musician releases โ€œOne Thousand Graves.โ€ Openers include Scary Black and Ceromantics.

Better Off Dead: 8 p.m. at The 8ร—10. The Grateful Dead tribute band plays, with funds benefitting Animal Rescue Inc.

Super Bowl Sunday Chili Cookoff: 2-5 p.m. at Checkerspot Brewing. The South Baltimore brewery has all the chili you care to taste for $10.

Puppy Bowl XVI Viewing Party: 3 p.m. at Hon Bar. The main pup event gets a party, with bingo, a raffle and more.

Super Bowl Party ft. Bottoms Up Bagels: 6 p.m. at Mobtown Brewing. The brewery has a special big game menu, projector and $4 pints.

Super Bowl Chili Cook-off: 6 p.m. at Ottobar. Taste lots of chili for $5, and watch the big game.

29th Annual Famous Super Bowl Party: 6-11 p.m. at Jimmyโ€™s Famous Seafood. The Holabird Ave. establishment has bull and oyster roast, open bar and VIP guests.

All You Can SUPER BOWL: 6 p.m. at Babyโ€™s On Fire. The Fells Point spot has tacos, nachos and some parking lot football competition.

Frazierโ€™s Super Bowl Party 2020: 6 p.m. at Frazierโ€™s on the Avenue. First 100 people to get on the list, get ready to party.
