The accolades keep coming for the Baltimore Orioles as Oriole Park at Camden Yards was named the Best MLB Stadium by the USA Today readers’ poll.
The Baltimore Orioles have been calling Oriole Park at Camden Yards home since 1992, while celebrities like Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, and even Pope John Paul II have held events within the space. In addition to hosting baseball games, the venue is also renowned for its charming retro-classic design, with many later stadiums taking inspiration from the surrounding structure.
The Orioles have a new 15- to 30-year lease at Oriole Park which unlocks $600 million in taxpayer-financed bonds for stadium improvements. This funding, which will help further enhance the facility and stadium experience, was authorized last year by the Maryland General Assembly.
