The Labor Day holiday recognizes the efforts of trade unions and labor activists to push for better working conditions and wages.

As we join offices across the nation in celebrating this holiday, Baltimore Fishbowl will not be publishing any new stories today. We will return to our regular publication on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

In the meantime, you can make some fun plans for the month ahead and relax by reading columns by local voices.
