Mercy High School’s A Magical Summer at Mercy is the perfect opportunity to try a new sport or take it to the next level in one she already loves, or dive deeper into her passion for dance! Our Acting Intensive is open to boys and girls entering grades 7-9 in the fall, and all other camps are designed for girls beginning in grades 6-9. Basketball Camp: June 15—June 18
At Mercy’s basketball camp, your daughter will have lots of fun, build friendships, and dramatically improve her game! No matter her ability level, she’ll build on fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, blocking, and stealing. She will learn the mental side of basketball and game strategies that she will transfer into game like experiences!
Camp runs daily from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Mercy’s gymnasium. Registration closes on June 5. The fee for registration is $200.
Dance Camp: June 22—June 26
Keep your daughter’s dance training moving forward this summer by dancing at Mercy! Students will work with professional instructors offering technique classes in the genres of ballet and modern dance, as well as additional classes in jazz, hip hop, improvisation, and composition. Dancers will also explore stretching techniques, strength and conditioning, and the rich history of dance. A minimum of two years previous dance experience is required.
Camp runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Mercy’s Dance Studio in the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium. Registration closes on June 12. The fee for registration is $325.
Field Hockey Camp: June 22—June 25
If your daughter is looking to improve her field hockey game while having fun and building friendships, Mercy’s four-day Field Hockey Camp is for her! Through a variety of field hockey drills, she’ll practice important techniques including dribbling, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting, defensive tackling, positioning, and scanning and tracking. Beyond the fundamentals, our coaches will take her game further with offensive and defensive tactics, game strategies, and positional changes. She’ll use what she’s learned in full-field games!

Softball Camp: July 6—10
Mercy’s Softball Camp focuses on the fundamentals—hitting, defense, running, and pitching. Through drills, scrimmages, and situational training, your daughter will gain valuable experience to prepare her for high school tryouts and team play!
Camp runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the Mary Anne Heckwolf+ Field, Mercy High School’s Softball Field. Registration closes on June 26. The fee for registration is $200.
Volleyball Camp: July 6—July 9 (Session 1) or July 13—July 16 (Session 2)
Have your daughter meet us at the net this summer to work on her volleyball mechanics and skills in a fun and competitive environment for all ability levels! She’ll learn defensive and offensive fundamentals and develop game strategies, building on serving, passing, setting, blocking, digging, and hitting skills, ball control, footwork, and speed to give her an advantage on the court!
Camp runs daily from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Mercy’s gymnasium. Registration closes on June 26 for Session 1 and July 2 for Session 2. The fee for registration is $215.
Acting Intensive: July 20— July 24
Mercy High School’s Acting Intensive provides students in grades 7-9 the opportunity to practice and enhance their theatrical skills onstage during a weeklong process. Students will focus on building skills to audition and perform onstage. Morning activities will focus on skills building in characterization, musical theatre, improvisation, and prop/costume making. Afternoon sessions will focus solely on performance pieces for the culminating showcase. Students should come prepared on the first day of camp with a monologue and a song to audition for parts in the showcase.
Camp runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday in the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Auditorium. Registration closes on July 10. The fee for registration is $200.
Cheer Camp: July 27—July 30
Calling all cheerleaders! If your daughter is looking to brush up on fundamentals, we’ve got the camp for her! Beginning and experienced cheerleaders are invited to learn new motions, jumps, cheers, stunts, and dance routines by participating in this exciting, new opportunity!
Camp runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Mercy’s gymnasium. Registration closes on July 17. The fee for registration is $200.
Soccer Camp: August 3—August 6
Is your daughter looking to build her confidence, communication, and cooperation on the soccer field? Have her join us for Mercy’s fundamentals camp! No matter her ability level, she’ll have fun and be challenged during drills and mock games. From speed to agility training to team and individual drills, she is sure to improve every aspect of her soccer game and prepare well for high school soccer tryouts!
