The 10th Annual Love Groove Festival will make history this summer as the first-ever festival to take place at Point Park in Harbor East.
Taking place on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 12–8 p.m., this mission-driven festival will be at its new location with music, art, and a family petting zoo.
This milestone celebration features a lineup headlined by five-time Grammy-award winning jazz/R&B visionary Robert Glasper and world-renowned hip-hop artist Saba, along with many other performers.
The waterfront will have live music by local and regional artists, visual art galleries, over 30 local food and artisan vendors, a wellness campaign, a city-wide bike ride, and family-friendly interactive games. The petting zoo critters will include ponies, turtles, donkeys, alpacas, and llamas.
The groove continues into the night with an exclusive Yacht After-Party from 9–11 p.m., accessible via the Baltimore Water Taxi.
Glasper is known for his blend of jazz, hip-hop, soul, and Black innovation. Saba is a critically acclaimed Chicago rapper known for his storytelling and artistry.
DMV-born singer and songwriter Alex Vaughn also joins the lineup. Other artists include festival founder John Tyler, Grammy-winner DK the Punisher, Kenyatta Band, Styles Bond, Akilah Divine, Hadiya Ayodele, Queen HD the DJ, Tonni Re, Precious Jewel, Bari Lutalo, Cadeem Lamarr, Jerry Homes, DJ Sole, and Love Groove Band hosted by Amber August and Rich Rocket.
The 10th Annual Love Groove Festival will include a special Art Gallery curated by TWZ. The gallery will feature Khala M., DonnArt, DJ Da Artist, Lette’s Art, and BlisArmyKnife.
Love Groove Festival was founded in 2017 by native Baltimorean and Emmy Award-winning composer John Tyler. The event celebrates joy, healing, and cultural connection, centering Black and Brown creatives while welcoming everyone into the groove.
Tyler was only a junior at Baltimore Design School when the imprint of multiple music scenes from his hometown moved him to throw the Love Groove Concert at Baltimore Motor House in 2018. The movement has grown, morphed, traveled around town, and Tyler’s efforts to support Black and Brown artists in Baltimore continues to thrive.
“Now, as we move into our 10th festival, Love Groove stands as more than an event, it’s a movement,” reads the website. “A pulsating platform for underrepresented voices, local legends, and the boldest artists of tomorrow. On Saturday, August 29, 2026, we celebrate a decade of love, risk, resilience, and sound reimagining what Baltimore looks and feels like through creativity, community, and equity in the arts.”
Tickets can be purchased on the Love Groove Festival’s website. Prices range from $29 to $209, depending on the package purchased. Early Bird tickets are available until Saturday, Aug. 1.
