One of the things I love about the spring time is the Saturday morning ritual of zipping from one yard sale to another in search of that undiscovered treasure.

If youโ€™ve been reading Pigtown*Design for any length of time, then you know that I have really gotten some great pieces at yard sales. One of my best scores was the steel barristerโ€™s book-case, now home to my collection of sweaters.guest room

With a sad heart, I learned that my friend, Flippa, is moving back to South Africa as soon as the school term finishes. But our loss of Flip will also be our gain, as sheโ€™s having a yard sale on Saturday.

Phillipa

Flip has the most amazing eye for wonderful pieces, and she can only fit a somewhat limited number of her belongings in the container. As Flip said to me, sheโ€™s got โ€œjust masses of smalls, tools, etc.โ€, but knowing Flip, they will be glamorous smalls and tools!

If youโ€™re interested in attending Flipโ€™s sale on Saturday, please e-mail me, as she doesnโ€™t want her address spread across the world!
