The President has political business to attend to in Baltimore today at his secret meeting with Democrats near Camden Yards. But before being whisked into the fortress-like Hilton, Barack Obama stopped by Charmingtonโ€™s in Remington for some coffee.

Obama made the stop as part of his new campaign to allow employees to earn more paid sick days and family leave. Obama was reportedly having lunch with U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski and two other Maryland women. Word got out pretty quickly:

  1. I saw all the cars down on the block. I was shocked Mr. Obama was in the heart of Baltimore city. I was wiping my car windows off and I saw they pull up.
