Now that his stint in the Governor’s Mansion is up, Martin O’Malley is moving his family back to a familiar place: North Baltimore.
The Baltimore Sun reports that the O’Malley family bought a $549,000 four-bedroom home in the Homeland neighborhood partly at the behest of former Maryland First Lady/Judge Katie O’Malley, who was eager to return to the neighborhood. The home features hardwood floors, nine foot ceilings, and a stone fireplace. That sounds pretty nice–but compared to the 38,000 square foot Governor’s Mansion in Annapolis (the second biggest in the country), it might even feel a little cramped.
Welcome back to Baltimore, O’Malley family!
