Center Stage is moving to Towson Universityโ€™s Center for the Arts for half of its 2015-16 season.

Renovations at the theatre companyโ€™s Mount Vernon home are necessitating the move, which starts in January, 2016. More details are expected on the renovation project in the coming months.

The universityโ€™s 330-seat Mainstage Theatre will play host to productions of Shakespeareโ€™s As You Like It and The Night Watcher, essentially splitting the 2015-16 season between the Calvert Street venue and Towson.

Hereโ€™s the complete season schedule, which was announced Thursday:

  • Pride and Prejudice (adaptation by Christopher Baker) โ€“ Sept. 11-Oct. 11
  • The Secret Garden โ€“ Oct. 30-Nov. 29
  • Xโ€™s and Oโ€™s (A Football Love Story) โ€“ Nov. 13-Dec. 20
  • As You Like It โ€“ Jan. 15-Feb. 14, 2016
  • The Night Watcher โ€“ April 8 โ€“ May 8, 2016
