If you are a member of Amazon Prime, the online retailer’s $99-a-year premium service, you can get your books/groceries/electronics/1,500 live lady bugs delivered the same day.
Baltimore has already had same-day delivery for a few months now, but you had to pay $5.99 per order for it. Under this new system, Prime members who place an order of at least $35 by noon will receive their boxes by later that afternoon. Even on the weekend.
If same-day delivery still sounds too slow, Amazon also offers one-hour (!!) delivery for a number of commonly household items. Pretty soon, you won’t even need to leave your house.
I guess this is how the students of Chopticon high school got their LADYBUGS 🙂
