The circle takes the square today in Towson.
The developer that owns Towson Circle is set to buy Towson Square, according to a statement issued today. Retail Properties of America will buy the recently-opened Towson Square from the Cordish Cos. for $40.5 million.
The property includes the Cinemark movie multiplex, BJโs Restaurant, World of Beer, Bonefish Grill and other eateries. Towson Circle is the adjacent property with Trader Joeโs and Barnes and Noble.
After the deal closes, the new owners plan to โintegrate both of these properties into one property as part of the larger planned redevelopment,โ the statement says. In other words, expect more changes in Towson along with the forthcoming Towson Row.
The name of the new property isnโt known yet. May we suggest the squared circle?
