Kevin Plank is a major reason the University of Maryland’s sports program are thriving. Now, his brother Scott Plank is looking to bring his development know-how earned during Baltimore projects like Belvedere Square Market to College Park.
According to Washington Business Journal, Scott Plank’s War Horse is proposing a pair of projects at the flagship campus. Under one plan, a former auto maintenance shop would be transformed into an arts and culture space. A second project has War Horse partnering to create a coworking space in the university’s innovation district.
Under the proposals, War Horse would lease property from the university.
