UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution, the Annual Dahan Lecture, “Anti-Semitism: Here and Now with Dr. Deborah Lipstadt,” is being postponed. A new date will be announced shortly.

There been a noticeable uptick in anti-Semitic incidents in America. Where is all this hatred coming from? Is there any significant difference between left-wing and right-wing anti-Semitism? What role has the anti-Zionist movement played?

Dr. Deborah E. Lipstadt, Dorot professor of Holocaust studies at Emory University in Atlanta and renowned author, will give her own brilliantly argued, and certain to be controversial, responses to these troubling questions at Beth Tfiloh Congregation’s Annual Dahan Lecture on Thursday, March 19 at 7 PM.

Dr. Lipstadt has published and taught about the Holocaust for close to 40 years. Her books include “Denying the Holocaust” (1993), “History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier” (2005), “The Eichmann Trial” (2011), and “Antisemitism: Here and Now” (2019).

This event is free and open to the public; no registration needed. Dr. Lipstadt’s book will be available for purchase following the lecture.
