Concertgoers hula-hoop and dance to John Tyler at the Baltimore by Baltimore Festival on August 10, 2024.

After taking a beat in July, the Baltimore by Baltimore festival series will return in August with a celebration of house music.

The Baltimore by Baltimore waterfront music and maker series is held the first Saturday of each month from June through October (excluding July) at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Amphitheater, located at 201 E. Pratt St.

From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 2, house music will be the highlight of the festival, titled “House at the Harbor.” The lineup will feature DJ Wayne Davis; DJ Oji; DJ Thommy Davis; DJ Meesh; and DJ Biskit, who is also producing the event.

In addition to enjoying some great tunes, attendees will also be able to visit with an array of makers and vendors, such as Tight Fisted Fashion, Ayoni Wellness, Be You Photo Booth, Baltimore Hoop Love Lantern Making, and more.

There will also be food and drinks for sale – coordinated by Chyno, the Baltimore Foodie – including seafood from Fishnet Food Truck, pizza from Underground Pizza, juice from Ginger’s Fresh Juice Company, drinks from Bar Movement and more.

Each month, the Waterfront Partnership hosts the festival series in conjunction with a different emerging or local professional producer curating a lineup of local music, art, food, and goods, typically based on a particular musical or cultural theme.

Next month, Mr. Trash Wheel and his friends will curate the festival, which will take place Sept. 6.

Baltimore by Baltimore festivals are free and open to the public.
