LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Dear Readers,
Welcome to Baltimore Fishbowl’s second Guide to Summer Camps, an annual print and digital publication designed to provide parents and caregivers with a trusted resource as they navigate the summer camp selection process.
Our first Guide to Summer Camps was so well received – by both our advertising partners and our readers – that we are excited to be back with a second edition, featuring more than 35 area summer camps and programs.
Last year, we explored counselor-in-training programs and offered tips for choosing the summer camp that best suits each family. This year, we focus on some of our market’s most creative camp offerings, including cooking and baking camps, performing arts camps, and camps for aspiring visual artists. We also highlight some of the area’s most “outdoorsy” camps, camps that encourage kids to spend the whole day outside, even sometimes in the rain.
In addition to our main feature stories, this year’s Guide to Summer Camps features a helpful day camp checklist, Summer Program Profiles, advertisements from local camps and businesses, and a comprehensive directory that includes all participating camps and summer programs.
With options ranging from one week to the whole summer and locations spanning Baltimore City and the surrounding counties, your family is sure to find the perfect fit for this summer.
Enjoy!
Nicole Allen
