Whether on land or water, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in Baltimore this weekend.

From community festivals and concerts, to the return of Baltimore Floatilla, check it all out in this weekend’s roundup:

WTMD First Thursday Concert, Thursday, June 6, 5:30 p.m., Canton Waterfront Park. WTMD is kicking off it’s First Thursday concert season with performances by musical trio DEHD, seven-piece band Snacktime, and Baltimore’s own five-piece band Giji.

Greek Festival, Thursday, June 6, through Sunday, June 9, 701 Ponca St. Enjoy four days of Greek food, wine, music and fun as the St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival returns.

Night Market, Friday, June 7, 6 p.m., Checkerspot Brewing Company. Shop vintage items, tattoos and piercings, bug art, jewelry, and more at this local flea market. Plus, you can grab a beer or seltzer from Checkerspot.

John Crist, Friday, June 7, doors open 6 p.m., event starts 7 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. Comedian John Crist is coming to Baltimore as part of his Emotional Support Tour.

Science Sleepover, Friday, June 7 (overnight into Saturday, June 8), check in between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Become a paleontologist as you examine prehistoric clues to identify a mystery dinosaur. There will be an array of dino-themed activities designed for families with children ages 5 and older.

Glitter and be Gay, Friday, June 7, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Listen to the works of Leonard Bernstein, as performed by the Emmanuel Choir. Hosted by Baltimore’s own Brooklyn Heights, the night will feature “Glitter and be gay!” from Bernstein’s 1956 musical “Candide,” as well as selections form his other stage scores, like “West Side Story.” The choir will also sing portions of his 1971 Mass and a complete performance of the 1965 Chichester Psalms.

James Kennedy, Friday, June 7, 9 p.m., Power Plant Live! James Kennedy, whom you might know from “Vanderpump Rules” and “Vanderpumped,” will be deejaying at Power Plant Live!

Maryland Toy Expo, Saturday, June 8, 8 a.m., Maryland State Fairgrounds. Check out your favorite toys from childhood, as well as some newer items. There will be more than 270 booths stocked with toys, collectibles, video games, comics, guests, and more.

Baltimore Floatilla, Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m., Canton Waterfront Park. The Baltimore Floatilla will return for its 7th year with the theme “Maryland Strong.” Attendees are encouraged to show their Maryland spirit (on themselves and their boat) during a 5-mile roundtrip paddle from Canton Waterfront Park to the Inner Harbor.

Charles Street Promenade, Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Charles Street between Saratoga Street and North Avenue. Pedestrians will be able to safely walk down Charles Street without worrying about vehicle traffic. Enjoy live music, dancing, shopping, dining, and more.

PurrFest, Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Maryland SPCA. Looking for the purrfect way to spend your Saturday? Look no further than the Maryland SPCA’s PurrFest, featuring various cat- and kitten-themed activities (don’t miss kitten yoga!), information sessions, and tours.

Gay Sailing History, Saturday, June 8, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Historic Ships in Baltimore, Pier I, 301 E. Pratt St. Learn about often ignored or hidden parts of queer history at a special Pride Month tour titled “Do Ask, Do Tell! Gay Sailors at Sea and on Land.”

Baltimore Electronic Collective, Sunday, June 9, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Patterson Park. The Baltimore Electronic Collective will hold a community popup event at Patterson Park. The popup will take place at the Doggie Stick Library at the corner of Eastern and Ellwood.
